Welcome to Sixth Veil. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sixth Veil website at sixthveil.com (the "Site"), our AI-powered psychic-reading entertainment service (the "Service"), and any related products operated by Sixth Veil (referred to as "Sixth Veil," "we," "us," or "our"). The Service is operated from the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
By creating an account, purchasing credits or a membership, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using Sixth Veil, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law.
The Service is not directed at children under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has registered, we will delete the account and any associated data. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us at hello@sixthveil.com.
Sixth Veil provides an entertainment experience in which you can have text and voice conversations with AI characters styled as psychic readers. The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence models, including but not limited to large language models from Anthropic (Claude) and voice synthesis from ElevenLabs, to generate responses in real time. Conversations are stored in a database so that the AI characters can reference prior sessions and so you can review your reading history.
The Service is not:
You are interacting with artificial intelligence, not human beings. Conversations are generated dynamically by software. Voice output is synthesized by AI. While the characters are designed to feel warm, intuitive, and personal, they are not sentient and do not have feelings, memories, or knowledge of you outside of the data you have provided to the Service.
To use most of the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
One person, one account. You may not register multiple accounts to abuse free-tier limits, evade enforcement, or for any other improper purpose.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deleting your account permanently erases your profile, conversation history, accumulated AI memories, and other personal data we hold, except where we are required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as tax or fraud-prevention records). See our Privacy Policy.
The Service offers a free trial, pay-as-you-go credit packs, and a recurring monthly membership. Current pricing is listed on our Pricing page. We may change prices at any time; changes will not apply retroactively to credits you have already purchased or memberships you are already subscribed to (you will be notified before your next renewal at the new price).
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. Sixth Veil never sees or stores your credit-card number. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
Credit packs are non-recurring purchases that add voice minutes to your account. Credits do not expire. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be sold or exchanged outside the Service.
The Reader Membership is a recurring monthly subscription that auto-renews every 30 days at the price in effect at the time of renewal. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on file each billing cycle until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from the Settings page, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain member benefits until that date, and you will not be charged again. Unused monthly voice minutes do not roll over.
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge a small number of times in accordance with Stripe's default settings. If the payment ultimately fails, your subscription will move to an inactive state and member benefits (including unlimited text and monthly voice minutes) will be suspended until you update your payment method.
Because the Service is a digital, instantly-available product, all sales are final and we generally do not offer refunds. Specifically:
We may, at our sole discretion and as a matter of customer goodwill, issue a refund in cases of obvious billing error, duplicate charges, or technical failure that prevented you from using what you paid for. Contact hello@sixthveil.com within 14 days of the charge to request a review.
If your jurisdiction requires us to offer a statutory refund right that conflicts with this section, that statutory right governs to the extent required.
When using the Service, you agree NOT to:
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these rules or are abusing the Service.
Your text and voice conversations with the readers are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) so the AI characters can reference past sessions and so you can review your reading history. We also generate short factual summaries ("memories") from your conversations that are shared across the four readers, creating the experience that the readers know you over time.
You may, at any time:
We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Conversations are sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic and ElevenLabs) solely to generate responses to you in real time. We have entered into commercial agreements with these providers governing how they handle your data.
When you send a message to a reader, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that message back to you and to use it to generate the reader's response. You retain ownership of anything you write. This license terminates when you delete the message.
AI responses are generated in real time and are not reviewed by humans before delivery. They may be inaccurate, inappropriate, contradictory, or factually wrong. You acknowledge that you understand this and will not rely on AI output for any decision of consequence.
The Site, the Service, the names of the four reader characters (Luna Séraphine, Mama Celeste, Raven, and Jade), the system prompts that define their personalities, the Sixth Veil brand, the visual design, and all related content (the "Sixth Veil Materials") are owned by Sixth Veil and protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, license, sublicense, modify, or create derivative works of the Sixth Veil Materials without our prior written permission. Saving your own reading transcripts for personal reference is permitted.

The Service is configured to recognize indicators of crisis in your conversations and to provide relevant resource information, but it is software — it may miss things, misinterpret things, or fail. The Service is not a replacement for human crisis counseling, professional mental-health care, or emergency response.
We do not monitor conversations in real time. We do not guarantee that anyone at Sixth Veil will see or respond to what you tell a reader, and you should not rely on the Service to summon help on your behalf.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE FROM ATTACK, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL CODE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. To the extent those laws apply, the disclaimers above apply to the greatest extent permitted.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SIXTH VEIL OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY:
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO SIXTH VEIL IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. To the extent those laws apply, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sixth Veil and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account from the Settings page.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice or cause, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us to legal or financial risk.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16 — will survive.
We may modify the Service at any time, including by adding, removing, or changing features. We may also modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version at this URL. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top.
If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email to the address on file, or by a notice in the Service). Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Service will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at hello@sixthveil.com. If a dispute is not resolved within 60 days of your written notice, either party may proceed under the section below.
You and Sixth Veil agree that any judicial proceeding to resolve a dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND SIXTH VEIL EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU MAY BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY.
