Calculate Your Life Path Number
Your Life Path Number is calculated from your full date of birth. Reduce each part — month, day, year — to a single digit (unless the total is a master number 11, 22, or 33, which we do not reduce). Then add the three reduced numbers and reduce again to a single digit or master number.
Example: September 14, 1987.
Month: 9
Day: 1 + 4 = 5
Year: 1 + 9 + 8 + 7 = 25 → 2 + 5 = 7
Total: 9 + 5 + 7 = 21 → 2 + 1 = 3

The Single-Digit Life Paths
Numbers 1 through 9 each carry a specific archetypal energy. Most people have one of these as their Life Path.
The Master Numbers
11, 22, and 33 are called master numbers because they carry a heightened frequency of their root digit — but with an added spiritual charge and a heavier soul contract. If your calculation reaches one of these, we do not reduce.
What Numerology Actually Is

How to Use Your Life Path Number
Your Life Path is not a diagnosis. It is a doorway. Use it to notice the following:
- The natural strengths you can trust. Every Life Path has specific gifts. When you know yours, you can stop trying to develop capacities that were never yours to develop and lean into the ones that were.
- The specific challenges that will keep visiting. Each Life Path also carries specific shadow work. When the same theme keeps returning in your life — the same relationship pattern, the same career struggle, the same block — your Life Path often names it.
- The work you are here to do. Not necessarily your career. The deeper contribution your soul came in to make. Some Life Paths are here to build. Some to heal. Some to create. Some to seek. Some to lead.
- Your natural rhythms and cycles. Numerology has a language for the nine-year cycles a life moves through. Your personal year, calculated from your Life Path plus the current calendar year, tells you what the current chapter is asking for.
When you know your Life Path, small mysteries begin to make sense. Why certain relationships worked and others did not. Why certain kinds of work feel like home and others like a costume. Why the same lessons kept returning until you met them properly. Numerology does not tell you what to do. It tells you what you are working with.
A Note on Master Numbers
If your calculation reaches 11, 22, or 33 at any step along the way, do not reduce it. These are the master numbers. They carry the vibration of their root digit (11 = 2, 22 = 4, 33 = 6) but with a heightened spiritual charge and a heavier soul contract.
People with master number Life Paths often report a specific quality to their lives — a sense that something larger is being asked of them, sometimes from a young age, sometimes felt as pressure before it is understood as calling. Master numbers are gift and burden at once. They ask more, and they offer more in return.
If your calculation reduces past a master number, you are considered to have the root digit as your primary Life Path — but the master number often still whispers in your chart.
